24 April 2010 - The 8th District Republican Party will hold its annual District Convention on Saturday, 24 April 2010, in the Stanly County Commissioners meeting room in Stanly Commons in Albemarle. Registration will be held from 9:45 am until 10:50 am, and the convention will convene promptly at 11:00 noon. We will be asking for a registration donation of $10.00 from each attending delegate, but a delegate need not pay to attend. Remember: You must have been a delegate or alternate to your County Convention to be seated as a delegate or alternate to the district convention. Stanly Commones is located across from Stanly medical Center, on First Street and between First and Second Streets, in Albemarle.
