 8th District Convention

8th District Map 

25 April 2009 - The NC 8th District Republican Party will hold its annual convention on Saturday, 25 April 2009, in the Stanly County Commissioners meeting room at the Stanly Commons (the same location as last year). Registration will open at 8:30 am and close at 9:50 am. The convention will gavel to order at 10:00 am sharp. One of our main responsibilities at this convention is to district party officers to serve for the next two years. The Stanly Commons is located in Albemarle, directly across from Stanly Memorial Hospital on First Street and can also be accessed from Second Street.

Dates for precinct meetings and county conventions are set by your county chairman, and dates for your district convention are set by your district party.  For more information, email your county chairman or district chairman or view the NCGOP calendar of events.

12-14 June 2009 - The North Carolina Republican Party will hold its 2009 State Convention from Friday, 12 June 2009, through Sunday, 14 June 2009, at the Raleigh Convention Center in Raleigh. You must have been selected as a Delegate (or Alternate) at your County Convention to serve as a Delegate (or Alternate) at the State Convention. Details will be forthcoming.
